Job Description:
Takes routine digital images in situations where several shots can be taken. Capable of taking digital still and video imagery on testing where basic event documentation is required. The employee must be able to provide digital still and/or video images with the use of lighting to enhance the imagery. Workers must be able to focus, compose, or provide simple flash-type lighting for an uncomplicated photograph. Typical subjects are employees who are photographed for identification, award ceremonies, interviews, banquets or meetings; or external views of machinery, supplies, equipment, building, damaged shipments, or other subjects photographed to record conditions. Assignments usually are performed without direct guidance due to the clear and simple nature of theQualifications:
1 yr. applicable experience in video or still photography; or completion of formal training.
Essential Functions Form:
UNUSUAL OR SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION
Takes photographs using digital imaging systems (up to 80%). The ability to bend/stoop, squat, crawl, reach above shoulder level, push/pull, kneel, balance and climb into or under a vehicle is required (up to 50%). Walking a minimum of 50 yards over rough terrain is required (up to 50%). The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. is required (up to 25%).
DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work environment may be inside or outside depending on the task. The ability to work in outside field conditions that include hot and cold extreme temperatures and other outdoor climatic conditions is required (up to 75%). Must be able to work in areas where only portable restroom facilities are available (up to 25%). Work environment may be fast-paced and require work under pressure to meet deadlines associated with the completion of a task. Position will require multiple task efforts.
EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES INVOLVED IN WORK TASKS
Uses professional video cameras or digital still cameras and lighting equipment (up to 80%). May use a computer system to color correct and organize data/images (up to 15%). The ability to work on unprotected heights, be around moving machinery/equipment, and drive auto equipment, forklifts, and other equipment with proper certifications and protective equipment.
CRITICALITY OF ATTENDANCE
Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours. Work outside of normal duty hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required with as little as one-hour advance notice.
OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance in order to gain access to required areas, networks and systems within thirty (30) days of date of your offer letter. Must further be able to obtain and retain a secret security clearance. Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Must be able to obtain and retain unescorted access to work areas. May receive a Class III FAA Flight Physical. May be subject to other physicals or exams if required to wear a respirator or are designated by the COR to have other physicals due to the work area in which you are assigned. May be subject to exposure to noise, radiation, vibration, lead, dusts, acids, and solvents. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required. Must have a valid driver’s license and personal transportation for the purpose of moving around the proving ground to accomplish job functions and in order to operate a rental vehicle if and when travel is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a military driver’s license within 30 days of employment.
