Support Staff

Northbound is looking for MALE Treatment Technicians to staff our residential properties on Day, Swing, and Graveyard shifts. Full and Part time positions are available.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Diligently monitor clients at all times during shift and overnight
• Provide disciplinary action through write-ups if necessary
• Conduct searches on clients, client property, and living spaces when needed
• conduct inventory of client personal property with clients upon intakes
• Utilize intervention and communication skills in working with clients, their families, and significant others on a daily basis and in crisis; ensure that activity and treatment schedule is adhered to; must be a role model at all times, and if applicable, shares personal experience, strength, and hope and act as a sobriety role model
• Ensure resident/participant, staff, volunteer, and vendor safety is adhered to at all times; must dress appropriately
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing when required
• conduct medication monitoring directly with clients and medication audits when assigned
• Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned property inside and out by re-stocking items, following up client chores, assisting them, and if necessary, completing client chores

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalency test preferred, knowledge of complex computer programs or ability to learn quickly, familiarity with the twelve step recovery program, and if in recovery, a minimum one year continuous sobriety, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current Adult CPR certification
Current Adult First Aid certification

Required experience:

• familiarity with the 12 step process: 1 year
