Job Description

Photographer will work with the studio team to create images for a high volume daily shot count for a wide variety
of still life photography for Carters, Inc. eCommerce merchandising, direct mail, retail and international marketing.
In addition, Photographer shoots curated creative for social media including food/craft projects, occasional on-figure
and specialty product laydowns.

- Execute on-time, cost-effective product photography to accurately represent brands, focusing on, understanding and capturing the specific details that make each product unique with the customer in mind

- Adhere to established image naming and uploading procedures; streamline processes as needed for efficiency

- Keep current on industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends

- Communicate and collaborate with Photo Studio team to meet deadlines and adhere to product styling guidelines

- Image quality control and accuracy

- Responsible for maintaining, resourcing and purchasing of all supplies related to photography

- Light retouching

- Train and instruct freelance/contract photographers as needed

- Understanding of and familiarity with existing product categories for all Carters, Inc. brands

- Responsible for maintaining safe and organized photo sets

Experience and Skills

- Studio product photography expert with proven photography skills and ability to adapt to different types of products

- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Extensive experience of digital photography software including: Mac OS X, Adobe Photoshop and Capture One

- Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

- Knowledgeable of technical studio hardware and is comfortable with set up and operation of DSLR cameras and advanced lighting configurations

- Deadline-driven and excellent time management, problem-solving and organizational skills

- Open to feedback, team player and flexible to daily changes and getting the job done

- High level of compositional skills, accuracy and acute attention to detail

- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

- Preferred bachelors degree program in relevant field of study

- 7 years prior experience working in a professional photography studio

- Prior experience with photographing product photography'

- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about. On regular occasions there is a need to rearrange sets and move and lift medium-weight equipment. Must climb a 12 ladder.
