Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for photography and videography of campus events as assigned (formal and informal); staff, faculty and students head shots; creative photos and video for website, social media and publications; color correction, editing, publishing, organizing and maintaining photo and video database; cataloguing and maintaining equipment; recommending and implementing related software programs; assist designers in updating print and online materials on an as-needed basis; other related duties as assigned. Occasional travel, weekend/evening assignments.Candidate must be able to handle multiple assignments on a daily basis, meet aggressive deadlines, pay attention to detail, and work collaboratively with a variety of departments and areas including academics, admissions, social media, and marketing/communications; and bring creative thought to the process of envisioning the finished product.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years professional experience in an academic, business, or other professional environment (or freelance equivalent). Bachelor Degree in Photography, Videography, Visual Art or equivalent life experience, Capable of using the following programs (Apple Computer): Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects. Portfolio of photography and videography is required, (online preferred).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Bridge; Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel. Previous experience in higher-education environment a plus.
