Photo Producer - Pottery Barn Teen


JOB DESCRIPTION Above all, the Photo Producer represents and supports the PBteen brand wherever we go. That means be a brand advocate and build strong relationships with freelance talent and partners while exemplifying the white glove experience customers expect during photo shoots in their homes. Stellar communication with all team members (internal and freelance) is key. This position must ensure product samples are on set ready to be photographed; train and mentor direct reports; initiate process improvements; and be accountable to the shifting needs of the creative production team and locations. The Photo Producer will handle and finesse all of the practical and interpersonal aspects of keeping a project running smoothly so that the director and the rest of the team can concentrate on the creative aspects. In order to foster an environment in which the creative talents of the cast and crew can flourish, this role will work within given tools to find opportunities and efficiencies that facilitate clear and productive communication across teams. Ultimately, the Photo Producer owns accountability for the success of the finished film and must be able to prepare and share post-shoot seasonal hindsights in a skillful way.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Team building with freelance talent, other departments, fellow producers and more.
· Excellent communication with all internal and external touch points.
· Providing support of creative excellence in preproduction work, daily execution and postproduction follow up.
· Maintaining and managing overall creative photography calendar by organizing, tracking and booking all art and photography assets including: all crew, studios, outside-on set producers, freelance vendors, photographers and internal creative team.
· Collaborating with merchant teams to determine creative execution based on business needs for all brand initiatives and seasonal concepts.
· Advocating for the creative team by spearheading solutions and ideas to improve process and project management.
· Establishing clear lines of communication and troubleshooting any problem that may arise to ensure a swift and good-natured resolutions.
· Exploring new opportunities to create efficiencies.
· Active, productive participation in seasonal strategy concept meetings. ·

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

· 5–7 years of project management experience in a high volume environment.
· Ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
· Able to identify workflow opportunities and proactively purpose solutions.
· Work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of an organization.
· Self-starter who is positive and able to lead and influence.
· Skilled at satisfying internal and external relationships with creative directors, homeowners, photographers, stylists, merchandise coordinators and fellow producers.
· Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
· Consistently dependable with regard to attendance and punctuality.
· Must travel to all photo shoots as necessary.
