Objective: To brainstorm, propose and produce compelling and branded editorial shoots - including 2-3 monthly on figure shoots and 3-4 styled flat shoots.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in brainstorm meeting to review stories & trends for the upcoming months including: stories we would like to comp from LY look back, plus key investments we need to support. From here this associate will propose what will be shot on model, flat, street style, etc.
- Continually sourcing great talent and sets including: Models, photographers, stylists, assistants, props and more. Find creative and innovative ways to utilize the budget and deliver on concepts
- Partner with led Graphic designer, Fashion Editor and Creative Production Manager to conceptualize shoots and talent ideas.
- Create proposed shoot concept deck to send VP of E-commerce, Brand Marketing Director, Sr. Director of Creative & Styling, Associate Art Director one week prior to shoot. Ensure we have enough time to edit based on feedback. This should have set swipes, inspiration pictures, mood, rentals and props, models and photographer, what stories we plan to shoot into, and what other shoots will overlap.
- Partner with Styling Manager to create the looks for upcoming shoot day. Run through style out day before shoot with Brand Marketing team to align on story and what is actually being shot.
- Coordinate all talent, sets, and product pulls for shoots. Organize, clean the studio after shoot and return all equipment or rentals in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Fashion Director, buyers and to check inventory levels when selecting samples to be called up for shoots.
- Partners with Social media team weekly to ensure casting, styling and Art direction is elevated and to Intermix standard for all Social Media and blog shoots
- Constantly suggesting areas for improvement, testing and helping implementation for photography execution.
- Provides support and guidance to on-set team; including freelance team, interns, photographer and models. Candidate must deliver all online product imagery that accurately depicts clothing and is styled according to our set standards
- Capable of resolving complex issues when relevant and communicate workflow status and concerns to E-commerce Merchandising Manager and Studio Production Coordinator
- Propose 2-3 selects for each look day following the shoot to Graphic Designer and Creative Production Manager
- Ensure invoices are signed and coded on time and we withheld a tight editorial budget.
- Ensure strong communication with Marketing on timelines, deadlines and post production to ensure they are aware of due dates.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years experience in fashion production for an E-ccomerce site.
- Great communication and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative thinker, someone who can problem solve and multitask
- Strong ability to source sets, talent and stay within budget
- Proficient in Excel and Word and has strong Adobe and Capture one knowledge
