Associate Photography Production Manager
The Associate Photography Production Manager in the Lands’ End Creative department will be responsible for managing global omni-channel photography projects from initiation through successful completion, working with a photography team and key stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, scope, resource needs, schedules, costs and success metrics.
Essential Functions
- Manage photography projects efficiently and effectively from initiation thru completion. Successfully manage photo planning meetings with team members (plan, schedule, facilitate, document, recap, communicate).
- Prioritize and manage multiple photography projects from pre-production through completion within time and budget constraints.
- Manage and coordinate the functions related to on-site or off-site photography as well as the administrative duties to support. This includes working with Photo Art Director or Managers to plan the execution of photo shoots, including budgeting and coordinating photographers, locations, stylists, props, hotels, models, etc. and hiring freelance production talent when necessary.
- Represent Lands’ End in the industry working with external agencies. Review and approve model, photographer, and supporting crews’ contracts.
- Plan, schedule and manage photography staff to produce successful outcomes.
- Provide reoccurring photography expense status updates. Be responsible and accountable for managing project costs within budget. Generate prudent trade-off options to leader and photo team partners when cost over-rides are anticipated.
Skills
- College degree in related area (Retail Management, Design, Project Management, etc.)
- 3+ years of demonstrated photo production, project management or creative operations experience.
- Strong computer skills. Experienced with MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and results driven.
- Understands the retail business-model, success metrics and overall processes.
