About the Role:

We are seeking a creative assistant video editor to join our production team. You will be responsible for managing and organizing video, audio and photo content produced by our freelance videographers/photographers and preparing footage for our in-house editing team. You will assist in the creation of video backgrounds for websites, editing mini-docustyle client videos and photos. This is a full time role that will report directly to our Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Must be organized and able to prioritize when working on multiple projects at a time
• Skilled with Adobe Premiere & Plural Eyes
• Experience using Dropbox, Google Docs and similar products
• Efficient in editing with a knack for story telling
• Ability to sync audio and video files

Qualifications:

• Must include a reel showcasing strong work and experience
• Get-it-done attitude
• Friendly and collaborative with ability to thrive with independent work
• 3+ years professional experience as a video editor
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong working knowledge of codecs & compression techniques
• Must be a strong communicator
• Must be flexible and adaptable
• Proficient with Mac
• DSLR photo & video experience preferred
